Privacy policy
JDIGITAL takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are. It is aligned with Law No. 2010/012 of 21 December 2010 on cybersecurity and cybercrime in Cameroon and applicable regulations.
1. Data controller
The data controller is JDIGITAL, Yaoundé, Cameroon — contact@jdigital.cm.
2. Data we collect
- Data you provide through the contact form, an event reservation, WhatsApp or email: name, email address, phone number, company name and the content of your message.
- Technical data collected automatically while browsing: IP address, browser type, pages viewed — for audience measurement and security.
3. Purposes
- Answer your requests and get back to you;
- Manage reservations for events and demos;
- Improve the site and our services;
- Ensure the security of the site.
4. Basis and consent
Processing is based on your consent (forms, contact) and on JDIGITAL's legitimate interest in answering requests and securing its site.
5. Reservations via WhatsApp
When you reserve a spot via WhatsApp, your message is processed through the WhatsApp application (Meta Platforms). Please refer to WhatsApp's privacy policy for its processing terms.
6. Recipients
Your data is intended exclusively for JDIGITAL. It is never sold, rented or transferred to third parties, except for strictly necessary technical providers (email, hosting).
7. Retention
Your data is kept for as long as necessary to handle your request, then archived or deleted, within a maximum of [24] months unless otherwise required by law.
8. Cookies
The site may use technical cookies necessary for its operation and, where applicable, audience-measurement cookies. You can configure your browser to refuse them.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and delete your data. To exercise it, write to contact@jdigital.cm.
10. Security
JDIGITAL implements reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.
